Walk By Faith.


In the Bible the concept is repeated that we must "walk by faith and not by sight." What this phrase means in essence is to believe that God is here and with us through the ups and downs even though we do not see him. It is to trust the consciously unknown and be assured that God will be by our side through thick and thin.

It sounds easy enough, right? To have soo much faith that we let go and allow for the masterpiece of our lives to unfold before our eyes.

For me personality, it is a constant game of checks and balances where I must take a moment to relinquish my fears into the universe and pray that no matter what I do...God is first in line.

So here, we go...lets see what shall unfold in the weeks to come.

First, I want to state that its been a very long time since I've written a post. It's not due to the lack of thoughts and emptiness in my spiritual growth; it has been simply due to the fact that 24 hours really is not enough time. Working on me and God.

It's funny how every time when I'm at a complete loss for works or direction in life this is the place I find myself. My blog. The beginning of my "adult" perception of the world. The version of myself that I hope and believe is this all-knowing person because I have aged and is now 'woken.' But the true reality is that I'm dreadfully lost and blessed at the same time. It is easy to find oneself in utter despair and forget one's blessing but it takes another level of 'wokeness' to realize that not all aspects of your life are as shitty as you think. For one, I am truly blessed to have Mark in my life. I love him dearly and often reminded of his love on a daily basis. I could have never imagined that God would bring him into my life last year when I thought all was lost and that I would die from the loneliness that covid created. I AM.

I am strong. I am beautiful. I am kind. And most importantly, I am worthy of love and affection. I wish I could tell you that these thoughts have been nurtured and running through my veins for all 32 years of my existence on this earth but that is very far from reality. Up until about a few months ago, I felt the absolute opposite.  I grew up thriving on my self-worth solely on the thoughts and feelings I received from men. Always feeling insecure in my body and my lack of ‘coolness’ is and has been my general motif. For those who don’t know, I snapped at one point last year and chopped off all my hair. Though this seems like a normal task for most girls, it was a huge step for me. It was at that moment I chose myself over the thoughts of many.
