Another Time



In another time, in some other place, you and I had another story. I know this because when I look into your eyes it is with great familiarity.

 Our souls have be bond to one another for centuries. You were my sun and I was your moon.

 Maybe we aren't meant to be together in this lifetime but I've kissed those lips a thousand times before; I'll kiss them a thousand times evermore.


Note: Do you ever just meet someone and have an instant connection? May it be a kindred spirit or finding your other half. There's an indescribable feeling that overcomes you when you meet this person.

Singlehood

First, I want to state that its been a very long time since I've written a post. It's not due to the lack of thoughts and emptiness in my spiritual growth; it has been simply due to the fact that 24 hours really is not enough time. Not only do I juggle driving from office to office as a sonographer; I do the same as a piano teacher. Life is never ceasing. But don't get me wrong; I'm not complaining. I love it all. Moving forward. The topic I wanted to talk about is Singlehood or simply what it is as a single woman/ and or person in the church. (These are my own experiences. Please do not throw it out of proportion.) Its many things. But most of all, it is tough. I find myself trying to almost explain myself to questions and statements such as: "Why are you single?" - It is not by choice. I just haven't found someone who wants to be with me. Where do you start?

When I first decided to tackle this idea in August, I had no idea where to begin. To be honest, I still have no idea where to begin and what is the most appropriate means of deciding a denomination. Don’t put it pass me to sit in the middle of the desert one of these days hoping to find God. I tend to do crazy things. At one point, I decided that I wanted to be Orthodox Jewish and I was CONVINCED! Before I started to really dive into my search of a denomination, I started from the beginning. There are three basic branches of Christianity. They are: Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant. Yes, I am well aware that there’s another branch called Restorantionists but that’s more recent in history and only dates back to the Second Awakening (early 1800s).
